If you’re a student or parent thinking about studying abroad, you probably have questions like:

😟 “Which country is right for my budget and profile?”

😟 “Will my child get a good university or just any random college?”

😟 “Are consultants just pushing us towards colleges that pay them commission?”

😟 “What if the visa gets rejected after spending so much money?”

😟 “I don’t even know where to start — it all feels overwhelming.”

You are not alone. These are the exact concerns every family comes to me with.

Here’s How I Help You Study Abroad — Step by Step

As a Certified Career Counsellor for International Studies, I personally guide you through:

🎯 Step 1 — Free Profile Evaluation We talk about your academics, budget, career goals, and preferred countries. I tell you honestly what’s possible for your profile.

🏫 Step 2 — Country & University Shortlisting Based on your profile, I shortlist the best-fit universities — not the highest commission ones. I explain the pros and cons of each option clearly.

📄 Step 3 — Application & Documentation I guide you through the application forms, Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LOR), and all required documents.

📬 Step 4 — Admission Follow-Up I track your applications, communicate with universities, and ensure you get the best possible offer letter.

🛂 Step 5 — Visa Guidance I prepare you for the visa application — documentation, financial proof, mock visa interviews, and submission.

✈️ Step 6 — Pre-Departure Support Travel tips, accommodation guidance, what to carry, what to expect — I prepare you and your family for the big move.

My guidance fees are transparent and discussed upfront. No surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How much does Mentor Hive charge for study abroad guidance?

Your first counselling session is completely free. For full application support, fees are discussed transparently after your profile evaluation — there are no hidden charges.

  2. Will you push me towards certain universities for commission?

No. I am a certified career counsellor, not a university agent. My recommendations are based entirely on your profile, budget, and career goals. I have no incentive to push any specific university.

  3. My grades are average. Can I still study abroad?

Yes, many universities abroad consider overall profile — work experience, personal statement, and motivation — not just grades. Book a free session and I will assess your profile honestly.

  4. How long does the entire process take?

Typically 6 to 12 months from the initial counselling session to departure. I recommend starting at least 9 months before your intended intake.

  5. Which English test do I need — IELTS or TOEFL?

It depends on the country and university. I will guide you on the right test based on your target destination. Some universities also offer waivers for Indian students.

  6. Can I work while studying abroad?

Yes. Most countries allow 20 hours per week during term time and full-time during holidays. I will explain the specific rules for your target country.

  7. What documents do I need to start the study abroad process?

To begin, just your academic marksheets and a clear idea of your budget and goals. We sort everything else together step by step.

  8. I am based outside Mumbai. Can you still help me?

Absolutely. While I am based in Mumbai, I work with students from across India via online sessions on WhatsApp, Zoom, or Google Meet.
